16TH CGHH Conference - India - 9 - 11 October 2026
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the CGHH 2026 Conference, which will be held in Chennai from Friday, 9 October to Sunday, 11 October 2026. We are especially pleased to begin the meeting with a series of engaging pre-conference workshops on Friday, 9 October, designed to foster learning, dialogue, and collaboration.
Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, is a vibrant coastal city where tradition and innovation meet. Widely regarded as the cultural heart of South India, it is celebrated for its classical music and dance, historic temples, and rich literary heritage. Set along the Bay of Bengal, the city offers a unique blend of heritage architecture, modern infrastructure, and warm hospitality, making it an ideal setting for global conferences and meaningful professional exchange.
CGHH 2026 will bring together leading researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and students from around the world to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and build lasting collaborations. We are committed to creating a stimulating and inclusive programme that advances scholarship and practice in our field.
A call for abstracts will be announced shortly, and we warmly encourage you to contribute your work and be part of this exciting event.
We look forward to welcoming you to Chennai for what promises to be an enriching and memorable conference.
Warm regards,
Professor Vidya Ramkumar
