Fees for this years congress includes catering (am and pm teas plus lunch) for the workshops on the Friday and the conference (Saturday and Sunday).

United States Travel Grants

Travel grants will be awarded to 10 early research investigators (ESI) or students from the US studying in the field of Doctor of Audiology programs, Otolaryngology residents, Medical Students, or graduate students in Global Health programs.

An ESI is a Program Director/Principal Investigator who has completed their terminal research degree or end of post-graduate clinical training, whichever is later, within the past 10 years and who has not previously competed successfully as a PD/PI for a substantial NIH independent research award. 

Each recipient will receive upto $2200 to attend and present a poster at the conference.

Restrictions

1. Recipients must abide by the “Fly America Act” when booking

2. Economy class tickets only

3. Receipts required for taxis, trains, airfares and hotel accommodation

4. Meal allowance $50 – no receipts required

5. Funds may not be used for Visa’s, entertainment or alcoholic bevereages

6. Recipients are required to submit CGHH claim form within 30 days post conference. 

7. Receipients will be reimbursed post conference only.

8. Applicants must create a profile on the CGHH website and submit an abstract by no later than 28 August. Recipients will be notified by 31 August 2026.

 

Special Student Offer

Students can attend the CGHH Conference and workshop for a highly subsidised rate of just USD 70, inclusive of:

  • Workshop: Friday, 9 October
  • Conference: Saturday & Sunday, 10–11 October

Registration fees include morning and afternoon teas plus lunch while attending the pre-conference workshops and conference days.

The Global reception includes the entertainment and meal. Excludes refreshments.

Daycare: CGHH are investigating the need for daycare and service providers. Those members that have paid registration fee to send daycare requirements by e-mail to gd@e2.co.za no later than 28 August. Restrictions apply. 

Transport: CGHH are in discussion with transport providers with regards from main hotels to the venue and from the venue to the Global Reception. This will be included in the registration fees.  

Regular Rates: 11 August to 30 September. Registration closes 30 September 2026
